Steven Universe Comic: Lying

This comic has taken me a lot less time then I thought I would to produce, so I'm happy I'm getting faster at this drawing business. If I ever do another comic, I hope that I can beat this time, kinda like a 'time attack' mode on a video game.
This is my second Steven Universe art piece that I've done, and I really do like how it turned out. I think I need to work more on creating exaggerated facial features but otherwise, I think this turned out good. If I told the joke in here to one of my friends, they'd slug me in the arm or backhand the back of my head, so I'm glad that I can display it proudly up here where they can only... Look it up and hit me later.

Anyway, Steven Universe. The last episode I watched was the one this comic is based on, 'Nightmare Hospital', and the series as a whole is really good. I can't come up with anything to say about individual episodes as they'll all include 'It has good animation/voice acting/sounds/etc.' and I won't be able to come up with anything to say about what goes on in the episodes (for some reason), so I can only recommend the show as a whole. While watching this episode, I saw this part of it and immediately thought of this joke, mainly because my humour consists of 30% good jokes, 50% puns and 20% pointing out humour in the creations of others. Made a lloooot of friends regarding that.
This comic took around 6-8 hours in total, and considering I'm slower then Slowpoke trying to outrun a sloth, that's a pretty big accomplishment. Connie would have to be one of my favourite characters of the show (alongside Garnet, Sadie and Steven), so I'm happy I got to draw her twice. The episode itself was really nice with how it resolved a problem with their relationship, which I won't spoil it entirely (what's said in the comic isn't the whole issue), but give it a watch when you get the chance.
Up next, something to do with Kirby, which will be a proper drawing of a sketch asked me to do. Shouldn't take long.
